who am i? qui suis-je?
passionné de musique, j'ai une collection de plus de 2000 cd, tous originaux.
cela a commencé il y a une vingtaine d'années, avec le rock des années 70 (pink floyd, led zeppelin, the doors, jimi hendrix...), et le hip hop américain (de la soul, epmd, a tribe called quest...).
puis arrive l'année 1993, et je découvre la g-funk (dr dre, snoop dogg, 2pac) et je me passionne complètement pour le hip hop américain (wu tang clan, cypress hill, the pharcyde).
suivront les premiers albums d'artistes majeurs pour moi (outkast, the roots).
durant cette période, j'écoute également massive attack, et donc tout naturellement, en 96-98, je découvre le trip hop (dj shadow, kruder & dorfmeister, archive, dj krush...).
la frontière étant très fine avec le trip hop, je prends un nouveau chemin à la fin des années 90 avec l'avènement de l'électro (groove armada, tosca, thievery coporation...).
aujourd'hui, je gravite essentiellement autour de ces 3 genres musicaux (hip hop, trip hop, électro), mais j'apprécie également la soul et la nu-soul (jill scott, erykah badu, d'angelo, terry callier...), le funk, la bossa nova et le reggae.

then comes 1993; that's when i discover g-funk (dr dre, snoop dogg, 2pac) and i become passionate about american hip hop (wu tang clan, cypress hill, the pharcyde).
soon to follow are the first albums of the most important artists to me (outkast, the roots).

crossing the oh so thin line into trip hop leads me, towards the end of the 90's, onto a the new path of electro (groove armada, tosca, thievery coporation...).
today, i essentially hover between these 3 musical styles (hip hop, trip hop, electro), but i also appreciate soul and nu-sol (jill scott, erykah badu, d'angelo, terry callier...), funk, bossa nova and reggae.
